Las Vegas seasons are crime drama created by Gary Scott Thompson. Its opening theme ‘A Little Less Conversation’ (the Memories The ‘68 Comeback Special version) is given by Elvis Presley. The show has been produced by Universal Media Studios and DreamWorks Television in association with executive producers Gary Scott Thompson, Matt Pyken, Kim Newton, Justin Falvey & Darryl Frank. The main location of the show is Las Vegas, Nevada and originally it is broadcast on NBC channel in 480i (SDTV) and 1080i (HDTV) picture format but now its old episodes are aired in syndication with other channels in the United States like TNT channel. Las Vegas season 1 made its debut on 22nd September, 2003.
Though Las Vegas seasons have ensemble cast of various characters like Mike Cannon, Mary Connell, Nessa Holt, Samantha Jane “Sam” Marquez and Delinda Deline; Ed Deline appears to be the character around which the story moves. He is the President of Operations of the Montecito, a fictional casino. Many times he is shown soft with his employees but uses his full authority (sometimes violence) to get the daily operations done as per his wishes. On many occasions, it is shown that his past as the former Director of Counter Intelligence for the CIA irks him. Finally, in the last season, he leaves casino and Danny McCoy takes his place. Danny is a former U.S. marine and Silver Star achiever. He used to serve military operations during the war with Iraq. He had on-off relation with, Mary, her childhood friend but now lives with, Delinda, her girlfriend. Over all, the series showcases the routine dealings and issues of the Montecito casino. It was aired for five seasons only and Las Vegas season 5 ended on February 15, 2008.
